LT, Sofi and Sofia all share the same birthday and all turned one year old today. Crazy how fast it goes...There seem to be two major rites of passage on the first birthday: 1) getting shots and 2) eating cake for the first time.
At left is LT in the Doctors office* this morning not too long before #1. He was a tough little guy, however, and didn't even cry until the last shot.
Yesterday, Kari made LT a great (looking anyway) cake that he'll get to try later this evening so stay tuned for photos of LT and his 2nd rite of passage into toddlerhood.

But her mood improved quickly when the cake arrived.
Ever the princess, Mia dug in nonetheless.
