Hogwarts painting

The boys had been asking to do another canvas and cocktail class and so we looked at the schedule together and noticed that they were painting a Hogwarts painting!
It was amazing to see the difference in attention between our class a year ago and this one.  Both boys were able to follow the teachers instructions better and they spent more time on each piece of the picture.
Though they also each kept their unique artistic abilities.

They turned out really well!

Lots of brother love

Baby B has recently discovered that he likes one episode of Baby Einstein.  He was pretty sick for a few weeks and so we watched the same 14 minute episode often.  His brothers were so kind and patient to sit with him and snuggle while watching the show.

Marade

We braved the wet snow and headed out for the annual MLK marade.  This is such a peaceful unifying event that we felt was especially important this year.  The boys never complained, in fact they asked to go.  Landon even helped carry the schools banner.
The snow didn't hold the crowds back a bit.  It was so incredible to see so many people.
B fell asleep on the way, so snuggled.

Last year Brian wasn't able to join us, but he was this year.  I think he was every bit as inspired as I was and we both are making this a priority as a family tradition.  Definitely one of my favorite events of the year.

Pedicures with Sarah

Sarah has been one of our amazing babysitters for almost a year now.  We wanted to thank her and give her an experiential gift for Christmas and Ads came up with the idea of pedicures.  We even convinced Landon to come.  Such a fun snowy afternoon with Sarah.

Ice Skating

I was able to get away for an afternoon last week and go on Adler's class field trip to ice skate!  I hadn't been on skates in 10 years and it was Adler's first time.  He patiently worked at his skills and made tremendous improvements in the short time we were there.

And the moms having fun!

New Years Day at the office

The big guys and I had a downtown adventure together on new years day. My office was empty and the resident "hoverboards" and nerf guns made for a lot of fun. We took a lunch bread at Chipotle too. I'm not sure this leaves them with a particularly accurate idea of what work really is...

Ski date

The big guys and I had a fun day skiing last weekend.  We ran into Landon's best bud from school, an added bonus!

New Years Eve

For the past 9 years (with the exception of the year Adler was in the hospital), we have done fondue for New Years Eve.  Its always a fun evening and has become an important tradition for our kids and our families.  This year Santa brought the boys a chocolate fountain.  As you can tell from the chaos of these pictures, it was a hit.
