Flexibility

Brian was gone all last week, including parts of both weekends.  Luckily the weather was nice so we spent a lot of time outside.  On Saturday we had plans to walk/scooter to the school near us, stop for pizza on the way home and then get ice cream.  Unfortunately as we were about to leave the school, LT fell and hurt his knee pretty badly.  So, I put him in the stroller holding his scooter, B rode up top (happily, but probably not the safest idea) and A rode his scooter.  We made him home with no further problems and decided to order pizza instead.  

Tape

 Lots of kids like tape, but I have yet to meet kids that like and use as much tape as my boys (mostly one of the boys).  Yesterday was basement cleaning day and this large ball of tape was part of what was cleaned up, yes, there was more tape.  In one week.

A sings!

A and his best buddy have been practicing for several weeks to sing "On Top of the World" by Imagine Dragons.  Today was the big day at the Arts Festival.  They did an amazing job and it was really fun to watch them perform. 

Scootering, Playground and Ice Cream

 The boys and I went on a several hour outdoor adventure last weekend to soak up the warm sun.  We rode scooters down to the playground and then got ice cream on our way home. 

 On the way home, B walked most of the way, but at one point he started crawling and told me he needed to be a big machine.

B and I met his little buddy and his mom at the gardens last week, this was the only picture I got because these two were on the move, in different directions.

Sick Kiddo

B was pretty sick last week, we finally got him antibiotics for an ear infection.  Its hard to entertain a baby in pain, but I pulled out some bags of dried beans that I had and we made a construction site.  

Science Fair

LT and his buddy did their science display on Jupiter.  They made this display, had coloring sheets for the younger kids and gave a pretty incredible presentation on Ganynmede.  

Another great meal

 This months meal made by Grandma and the boys was a Mardi Gras theme.  We had red beans and rice, homemade french bread (Grandma's friend taught them how to make it and made it with them, so yummy!), salad and bananas foster for dessert.  

Boat

A started this large boat at school during choice, brought it home and then continued working on it with LT.  Together they made this pretty impressive boat which they wanted to test out in the bath.  All 3 kids got in with this boat that was almost the size of the tub and played for probably an hour before it began to disintegrate.  

Choice

While we were in Croatia last summer, we went to the kids center one afternoon just for something different.  The activity that day was making butterflies out of toilet paper rolls.  A was very insistent that I bring that project into his class this year.  We saved TP rolls for months and finally I brought the project in last week.
