JDRF walk

We did the JDRF walk again this year.  

First haircut

We said goodbye to little Blane's mullet yesterday. He was very agreeable about having his hair cut. 

Garden of the Gods

We went to Garden of the Gods for a little hike today. We managed to get one good photo from the day, despite Adler's less than stellar spatial awareness (shown below). Kari's phone camera was all blurry from dirty little Blane fingerprints so the photos of me with the boys didn't work out.

Nerf Battles

For his birthday this year, Adler did nerf battles in the park. The kids loved it.

Baby's first lasagna

Apparently he liked it! At lest the part that didn't end up on him. 

Mini Me

Brian and I went to the kids back to school night this past week.  Landon has been talking about his "mini me" since school started, but we hadn't seen it.  The kids measured their bodies and then divided each and every part to make a mini version of themselves.  They added a little flair about themselves to the picture (Landon is holding goggles, wearing an 18 jersey etc).  

Seven!

Alder turned seven years old today. Papa took him out for breakfast and he decided to dress up for the occasion. Landon helped him do his hair.

Adler also insisted on making dinner on his birthday so, with only a little help from his assistant chef (me), he made quesadillas and a nice salad for everyone and served it at the table he'd set complete with candle light.

Blane got some work done on his hair from both his older brothers.

 We walked Ads into his class today and he wanted to read to Blane.
