Recently

She's just such a great puppy.

The best birthday gift, a COVID shot AND a flu shot.

And a friend to spend the night.

Apparently he was really tired.

With everyone back in school full time, there's some more time for me to do things I love with people I love.

I have been so lucky that my roomate from college recently moved back to Colorado (she's originally from here, but has lived in Seattle since college).  She is the person who introduced me to backpacking and so I am so grateful for adventures together!

And the whole group was a perfect match.

 

Mountain Adventuring

All of us had some fun mountain adventuring in the past 2 weeks.  I went on a hut trip for a few nights outside of Leadville, which was challenging, but mostly beautiful.

LT went on his first backpacking adventure with a friend.

Our friends had their (now) annual slip n slide/BBQ party in the mountains.

We took the two younger to a concert at the Dillon Ampitheater with some friends.

Brian took Ads to play golf on Sunday, where our car proceeded to die and need to be towed back to Denver.  That left LT in Vail with his friend after backpacking, Ads with my friend over in Copper and Lexi, B and I at our place (all while Brian went with the tow truck driver back to Denver to then drive our other car back up).
