History Colorado Museum

Denver offers so many amazing free programs for kids and families.  Today we went to the History Colorado Museum for free.  Through the Denver Public Library, you can use your card and print out free tickets to museums in Denver (for certain dates, assuming there is space).  Its such a great resource.

Valentines Dinner made by the boys

As I mentioned in a previous post, the boys make a themed dinner once a month for us as their Christmas gift to us.  This month was a Valentines Day theme.

Blue Sky Cup

Brian and I participated in a fundraiser Friday.  The fundraiser was an all day ski event consisting of trying to ski 40,000 vertical feet (or more) while completing various challenges (ski every lift on Vail mountain, kiss the elk at the top, take a photo at the top of Ptarmagan Ridge, kiss a lifty, ski 4 double blacks in a row in order etc).  There was no stopping for lunch, we had a few small snacks on the lift.  It was no joke, yet it was super fun given that everyone was dressed in costume and you had to compete on a team.

It was a long day, but you finished and were warmly welcomed back with a full buffet of food and drinks.

Big Guy!

A few of our favorite things B says these days:

Going to bed each night, "I need hold on to yours arms mama".

Anyone, "Hey little guy", B, "No, I BIG guy!"

His brothers, "Guess what?"  B, "CHICKEN BUTT!"

He is really into trucks, dirt, being outside, reading books, magnatiles, not eating his meals, swimming and being a "big" guy like his brothers.  Here are a few recent photos:

This morning he wanted to ride his trike.  I told him the balance bike was for "big guys".  He immediately got on it and took off.  No practice necessary.  Last time we brought it out, Brian and I had back aches from leaning over and holding him up.

Snuggling, this dude loves snuggling with anyone, but especially his big brothers.  LT reads him stories each night.
He packed his backpack, put it on and was ready to go to the coffee shop!

Good Buds... STILL

These two met when they were 3 and have been in the same class ever since.  While they don't hang out all the time, when they do, they get along beautifully.  We were supposed to ski together on Saturday, but unfortunately her skis were locked in a locker with no key.  Instead, they met us for lunch and then A went to her condo and played for the afternoon (and then met us to swim).

And another friend from their class joined us for lunch.
