Mexico

Thanks to our amazing husbands and flexible children, we were able to squeeze in a trip to Mexico last week.  

 

Halloween Fun (prior to Halloween)

Glow at the Gardens with some friends.

B wanted to be "dry bowser", which is NOT sold on Amazon.  So I made it.

And Ads wanted to be a brick wall with 3 friends, also NOT sold on Amazon, so we made it.

Trick or Treating on Colfax (an annual tradition with friends), was freezing and snowy this year, but fun nonetheless.

And turned into a playdate after with haunted house building on the snowy day.

 

B's actual Bday

Bri was at work, LT was at ultimate, but B, Ads and I opened gifts together so that we could all eat dinner together at a reasonable hour.  And of course those are the only photos I got of this special day.

 

Hot Chocolate Run

We did our third family 5K a few weeks ago.  B dropped another 4 seconds from his best time, LT and Ads also dropped time, and lots of fun things to dip in chocolate were consumed after the run.

Randoms

Ads and his friend went dumpster diving for some wood and the built some various things in our yard.

Ice cream with our carpool buddy on a hot day.

One of the gifts I gave Ads for his birthday was a cooking class with a friend.  We made fried chicken, green bean casserole and peach cobbler.

 

As birthday party

Ads wanted an epic party.  He invited 10 friends to an escape room, followed by BBQ and then a sleepover!

And the majority of those kids then went to one of the kids murder mystery birthday parties dressed as characters.
