Brian and I took off all the covers on our couches and washed them, which left the pillows on the floor. Landon enjoyed climbing all over them and up onto the couch. Without the pillows, the couch was much shorter. When we put the couch back together, he was slightly confused, but determined to get back up there regardless of the new height.
