Camping with Z

Z and LT weren't able to party in Mexico as planned, but we managed to have a successful camping trip with the Gallego's this past weekend.

We arrived early afternoon on Saturday, just in time for LT to have a picnic lunch. Not sure if he is handing me a cheddar bunny or a rock.

The two boys chillin' in the camping chairs, life is good, isn't it?

After lunch, we took the two boys on a little hike up to a waterfall.

Lan fell asleep, but Z was able to enjoy the scenery and stuck his toes in the water.

Back at camp, Z fell asleep, but LT kept himself entertained rolling the trucks Shawn brought in the dirt.

Bri and I always comment that we have very few family pictures because one of us is usually taking the picture, so here is a current family photo.
Lan crawled his way through the grass towards the lake while Z tromped around in it with his dad.

One of z's favorite activities is pushing carts around and one of Lan's favorite things is just sitting and looking around. Together they made a great team and entertained themselves while we cooked dinner.

Around 7, Landon's usual bedtime, we started getting him ready for bed in the tent. However, we realized soon into our "routine" that LT had never been in a tent before. To him, this was a party just getting started.
Life was too good to put on jammies, so he just crawled around in a diapie.

He was having so much fun, he called Z in to play too!

They each found some small items to inspect. Lan did manage to settle down and sleep around 8. It was the perfect temperature to cuddle, but not too cold.

He woke up promptly at 6 to enjoy an early morning stroll around the campground.

Bri made sure the coffee was taken care of.

We read a few books about trucks while we waited for Z and his parents to get up.

Z woke up ready to make some more laps around the campfire pushing LT. He managed to stop for a few bites of pancake as he passed his dad.

As we were packing up to leave, LT decided he would like a turn pushing Z.
