Peanut Protector (aka helmet)

Brian and I have had a hard time remembering that things aren't all bad when we have been thrown a few bumps in the road lately. However, we are officially 4 days into being hospital free and life is treating the Campbell family much better! Because Bri took the week off (to be in Mexico...), we were able to do a few family things during his time off. We took advantage of the beautiful weather in Denver yesterday and took little Lan on a bike ride. He rode in the Chariot (without the infant sling!) and wore his peanut protector (still a little big, but he figured out how to hold it up for the whole ride to maximize eyesight). After the ride we had a picnic in wash park that consisted of cheerios and teddy puffs. We all like this new trend of family fun... hopefully the blog posts to come in the near future will be along these lines.
