We all have hopes and dreams for our children about what they'll be good at and what kind of person they'll be (some realistic and others not so much). If Landon's parents are any indication, there's one thing that we probably shouldn't hold out much hope for him having and that is musical talent. I'm completely tone def but, in spite of that, I can hear enough to know that when Kari sings along to the radio in the car it's not exactly a thing of beauty. So it is clear that LT isn't going to get many music skills from us.It's not completely hopeless, however. There's some musical ability on Kari's side of the family including her father and perhaps most notably her older brother Scott. Pictured at left is Scott performing at our wedding and his son Nicholas even managed to get on the drums for a while at the reception (below). More recently Nicholas has been showing signs of a rock star career in the making. So LT isn't going to get any music talent from his parents but maybe can learn a little something from his uncle and cousin.
