He's still a small guy, but getting bigger.

Bouldering/climbing
The boys started a bouldering/climbing class this week. It was so fun to watch them scale the walls!

little helper
Over the weekend Blane 'helped' me do some minor fix-it stuff around the house. And by that I mean he played happily in his exersaucer outside while I took something apart and put it back together again with the blind hope that doing so would fix it.

Humboldt
Brian and I have made a weekly date night a priority. This week we stepped it up and went to Humboldt for dinner. We are lucky that the big guys like our amazing sitter so much (in fact that is always the thing they are looking forward to the most each week when we ask them!) and that Blane is still easy enough to take with us.
Robbers and Police trucks
Ads has been into "robbers and police trucks" for quite some time. It was no surprise to me that he would choose this costume at a friends house!

solid food
This week Blane grabbed and ate a bit of a banana Kari was having. So she decided maybe it was time to officially introduce him to solid foods (as "solid" as baby food is anyway). He seems to like his baby oatmeal.

Science
Adler was asked to participate in a friends older sisters science experiment (do 6 year old boys run faster on cement or grass). Looks like they had fun!

Smooshed
The boys didn't have school again today. We went to Snooze for breakfast, Nature and Science to see the new Chocolate exhibit and then the zoo. Look at those bears smooshed faces, they were so cute.

OT
Ads has been going to occupational therapy on and off for a few years. We finally found an amazing therapist who he adores and we are seeing huge gains from her hard work with him. Two therapists opened a brand new facility last week and Adler was the first client in the new space!

A weekend in the mountains
We spent the last 4 days at Baba's house for some mountain adventures. Landon was able to ski with one of his close buddies on Saturday (and moms of course).
My boys.
Thursday we had a family ski day (Baba and Grandpa watched Blane!)

Little Monkey Buziness
A cousin of mine recently moved back to Colorado and they invited us to their 3 year old girls birthday party. We hadn't been to Monkey Buziness since the boys were a lot younger and I was worried that they would be too old and Blane would be too young.
But they all had fun (LT too!)

Tiara
We had dinner with some friends last night. They have two girls a little younger than our boys, but they all played beautifully together, literally. They ran around wearing tiaras and the boys found the one weapon in the house, a glowing sword.
passports
Blane's passport came in the mail this week. He seems so young but I looked back and LT was even younger when he got his. He was so little that he had trouble staying awake for the photo.
I stubbornly refuse to hand over artistic control or $10 to Walgreens so I insist on doing the photo myself. Here you get a behind the scenes look at Blane and I working on the photo together. Then I paid Walgreens 29 cents to print a 4x6 with six identical copies of the square photo, one of which was cut out and used with his passport application. It never occurred to me that each copy could have been zoomed in slightly differently. Not until the woman reviewing the application said that the photo might be zoomed in a little too much. Then it seemed like a great idea. Luckily for me, however, it turned out okay and little Blane's passport arrived just a couple weeks later.

holiday randoms
A card from LT to his mom that melted my heart (even though I was omitted).
LT playing a scrabble like math board game.
Adler 'playing' soccer with his new soccer ball.

Baby Yoga and Pilates
Blane and I go to pilates each week. Its always a crap shoot as to what he will need at that time, but this week he slept on the mat! We also went to baby/mom yoga and he did the same thing.
