The day after senior night, LT and I (along with his friend and his dad) flew to San Luis Obisbo for admitted student day. I hadn't been to see Cal Poly, but was blown away by the perfect fit for LT.
He has a few familiar faces already there who were kind enough to meet us and answer some questions. We also took a tour, went to the MECH E meet and greet, as well as walked nearly 20,000 steps all over campus. It was a whirlwind, but we both feel great about him going.
LT has always been a hands on building guy. Ever since he was little he was building and creating. Cal Poly has numerous maker spaces that are just exactly what he will love.
And the adorable town with hills and ocean surrounding it are absolutely stunning.
