After B got out of his leg brace, something changed. He has LOVED hiking and wanted to do more and more of it. He has lofty goals, that sometimes I doubt, but he has never once wavered or failed at the goals he's set. He had heard LT talk about climbing Bishop Peak (and pretty steep peak that you can see from LTs dorm). I truly didn't know what we were getting into, or whether we would succeed, but Brian and I took the challenge. And he made it, with zero struggle and an incredibly quick pace.
His brother each climbed a 14er this summer, and B had seen people holding the cardboard signs at the top for photos. He was going to do the same on the top of this peak (or as he called it, Mount Bishop).
The trail started off gentle and we saw lots of deer!
But quickly turned steep and went up high in a very short distance.
Nothing this guy couldn't handle though, especially with some red Power Aid.
And he summited, with his sign, signed by all those who summited (the three of us)!
