Year 2- week 1 (from school closing)

B was accepted into the boys school for next year (no big surprise) and they had the cutest drive through welcome.  As we drove by the school, we stopped every few feet and a staff member or teacher or current student welcomed him and gave him some (junk) thing.  Necklaces, stickers, pencils, treats and the gigantic maze.  I had just picked the older boys up from swimming and so they drove through the line with us, in their swimsuits, and were equally loved on by all the current students and staff.  Even teachers who never had our kids, knew them.

We made it our goal to hike at least once a month, and this week (before the snowstorm), we were able to squeeze in our hike.
B doesn't have school Fridays, but we have either been in the mountains or had plans with friends in a yard or a park.  This week, we were free, which meant more fun activities by mom.  He loved this measuring activity where he connected two stickers or the same color and then measured the line and wrote the number.

It wouldn't be a week without loving on this sweet little girl.
Friday, Ads went to the town center after school with a friend for lunch (they ate outside despite the cold temps!) and then went home with her to play outside.  The other two and I had an hour of old school Mario Brothers.
