Thanksgiving in Paris

On Thanksgiving day we visited Versailles (including touring the expansive gardens in a "small electric vehicle") and had dinner at a great Argentinian restaurant near the nice little apartment we'd rented for the week in the 2nd arrondissement. It wasn't exactly the traditional Thanksgiving but was great nonetheless. The rest of our vacation week we tried to balance seeing the sights and just being and spending time in Paris. We made it to Montmartre, a huge Christmas market, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, several carousel, the sewers, and had an incredible personalized tour at the Louvre. We also just spent some time together fighting off jet lag, leaning to ride the metro, eating at various restaurants and cafes. The trip had its ups and downs, of course. But it was kinda perfect.
