Day 3 was a big one. Luckily the weather wasn't rainy, but it was VERY windy and cold. I booked a "private" tour for the Eiffel Tower, which basically meant that all the tickets to the top of the tower were sold our for the day, so we met a random tour guide who gave us a little history of the tower as he walked us to the elevators to go up. Then we were on our own. Not loving heights myself, I went to the mid level and the boys went to the top for the full experience (I have done this a few times before, so I didn't feel the need to).
Afterwards we walked to the Arc de Triumph and checked out the views of the tower along the way.
We had reservations for a Seine Cruise that evening with some friends who were also in Paris. However, we had some time and had bought a Paris pass allowing us entry to most museums. We stopped at the Aquarium on our way to the cruise, which ended up being a highlight for B. No pictures taken.
The cruise was also chilly, but these two buddies had a great time regardless.
