Randoms from the trip

 We wore the kids out between beach and swim times.  Sometimes driving to dinner the big guys would fall asleep.

 B was fascinated with taking selfies, we took a lot of them one afternoon.

 The hotel had a kids club, which the boys wanted to check out one day.  They were making these TP butterflies.

 LT ate a lot, on several occasions he ate an entire pizza himself.

 We had the most gorgeous sunsets each night.  This was the last night we were there at our favorite restaurant.

 And ate ice cream most days.

Trojir

 We spoke with many people over the past year who had traveled to Croatia.  One couple mentioned how amazing Trojir is and highly suggested we visit.  We made the drive one evening (30 minutes from Split) to this tiny town.  Its a tiny tiny town, but has a lot of history as well.  Again, the town has narrow walkways lined with restaurants and stores.  The waterfront is beautiful with docked boats.  It has a  Fortress as well, Fortress Kamelengo.  And of course ice cream.

One of the magical parts of traveling with B was seeing things in a different light.  While the big guys climbed to the top of the lookout tower, B and I watched birds and made a pile of rocks inside this very very old fortress.  

Hair

Klis Fortress

 20 minutes or so outside of Split is a medieval fortress.  Its situated high up on a hill.  It was used as a way to defend the area, but has been lost and reconquered many times over its history.  

Hotel Phones

 The hotel phones were a big hit in each hotel.  We unplugged them and B would call people.
