End of Summer

We all love summer so much, especially the end of summer when swim team is over and we can have slower mornings and do all the summer bucket list items we haven't had time for.  Typically we travel and this time is cut short, but given the pandemic, our travel was mostly just mountain time this year, which had its own perks.  The kids had their first lunch at the Tiki Bar (technically LT has been, but I think he was 4-6 weeks old).
We spent a good number of days playing in the sand at the marina in Frisco and trading off on the stand up paddleboards.
There are a lot of neighborhood kids who are full time residents in our mountain complex.  Each night (when the weather is decent in the summer), they congregate outside with some sort of wheels or an activity.  This year, A has really connected with an 11 year old who recently moved in.
I think the big guys logged 7 or 8 days at Water World this summer (B and I made it 3 days and Brian 2).  Pizza as big as your head is a must.

And, with A starting middle school and the chaos of the afternoon carpool/activity bus I drive that can only be in one place at a time, we decided he needed a phone.  There are a few days that he will need to walk someplace after soccer and coordinate me picking him up, much easier with a phone.
