Rainbow Lake with Papa

Papa joined us for a night in the mountains last week to go on one of our favorite family hikes, Rainbow Lake.

Papa Turns 80!

We had a very small family birthday gathering to celebrate Papa turning 80!  

 

Little Free Library

Despite many delays and some errors in my workmanship, we've finally finished assembling and installing the little library (it was a Christmas gift to B).  

 

Work

The new normal (for many people) of working (more) from home has many benefits. Having a 5-year-old watch over your shoulder while you work isn't necessarily one of them.

This was a few months ago but seems like something that should be documented in the family archives here. LT and some friends getting their second dose at a children's hospital weekend COVID-19 vaccination clinic. 

 

General admission at Red Rocks

 

After navigating the traffic, parking, and long lines to get in at Kari's performance with Voices Rock at Red Rocks like a typical event there, it was a truly amazing experience to sit with the boys, brother-in-law, friends, at least one dinosaur, and nearly ten thousand other people to watch her perform on the stage of one of the most famous and revered concert venues in the world.

I didn't get many pictures at the state swim meet either. Just a couple of LT with some teammates and one of the start of a race (I think it was the 100 Free).
