Sun Day Fun Day

Last Sunday was a big one.  I ran my annual 1/2 marathon in the morning.  And we went to the Book of Mormon in the afternoon (B stayed with a sitter).  It was definitely a good day.

Swim Team Banquet

These guys rocked HS swimming this year.  Hard to believe another season is already in the books.  Not pictured is the sweet little "banquet" B's friend hosted in the park on the last night of their year round team.  I wasn't there because I was at the big guys banquet, but I heard there was lots of pizza consumed and even more wrestling in the grass.

Mothers Day

I had such a perfect mothers day (for me).  I started it with a long run with a friend and came home to the sign above.
Ads had to work, so we had our second annual mothers day take out lunch in the car in the parking lot of his work.  This time Jochi and LT joined us, and also this time, the weather was warm.
We went on what we hope to be, but isn't always, an annual mothers day hike.  This time without one kid and with an extra kid.

Years ago (maybe B was 3) we took a photo in this exact spot with B in my arms and LT and Ads next to me (much smaller).  We are obviously missing a kid, but we tried to reenact it.

Prom

Luckily my cousin was able to take B and his son home after the swim meet because Bri and I rushed to take prom photos with Jochi and LT.

And then home to host Jochi's friends for the pre prom dinner!

First weekend in May- part 1

May started off with a bang.  Brian's birthday, my cousin and his son were in town (and stayed with us), the big boys had their league swim meet, Jochi and LT had prom (in next post).  I am sure I am forgetting things, but it was a fun and wild one.  B really loves hanging with my cousins son so they did lots of fun things together (Nature and Science and the Museum of Illusions to name a few).

We did manage to get Bri a a cake and have a little (not so little celebration).

Mostly Friday and Saturday were lots of swimming though.
