 Blane is a safe person for Blane to practice reading with!  You can make all the mistakes in the world and he's still happy being read to.  

Climbing

 The boys have been hard to get interested in sports.  They try a lot of things, but besides swimming, biking and skiing, nothing has captured their interest until we started rock climbing.

Looking Back on Trash Trucks

February of 2013. Tom's house. At the time it seemed like Adler's trash truck obsession would last forever. Using ripped or cut up scraps of paper for the trash was one of his absolute favorite things. And maybe Kari's least favorite. Looking back at this makes me wonder what Blane's early interests will be.  

Early 2010

I've been slowly trying to clear out some space on my computer recently and came across some old video of LT and Adler together from early in 2010. Also a couple of photos of Hailie - one sleeping with Brown B and one giving Adler a little lick.

Small but big

He's still a small guy, but getting bigger.

Bouldering/climbing

 The boys started a bouldering/climbing class this week.  It was so fun to watch them scale the walls!

Over the weekend Blane 'helped' me do some minor fix-it stuff around the house. And by that I mean he played happily in his exersaucer outside while I took something apart and put it back together again with the blind hope that doing so would fix it. 

Humboldt

Brian and I have made a weekly date night a priority.  This week we stepped it up and went to Humboldt for dinner.  We are lucky that the big guys like our amazing sitter so much (in fact that is always the thing they are looking forward to the most each week when we ask them!) and that Blane is still easy enough to take with us.  

Robbers and Police trucks

Ads has been into "robbers and police trucks" for quite some time.  It was no surprise to me that he would choose this costume at a friends house!

This week Blane grabbed and ate a bit of a banana Kari was having. So she decided maybe it was time to officially introduce him to solid foods (as "solid" as baby food is anyway). He seems to like his baby oatmeal.
