This is not the view from our backyard. But kinda. This beautiful scene is the view from the end of the parking lot outside our mountain chalet (townhome). This weekend we visited grandpa for a pandemic-appropriate and socially-distanced dinner where the boys did a little scootering and played with grandpa's dog. And, of course while in the mountains, we had some of our usual family hiking and trail running for the adults.

Week 25
As Brian mentioned, we had a lot of online adult events this week. I don't even know what this one was or why B was in a banana costume, but this is life.
And more of the zoom back to school chaos.
Friday, B had a little tour of his new school, he loved it until he got really hungry and had a full melt down.

back to school nights
We did three back to school nights on zoom in two actual nights. That wasn't busy enough so to keep things interesting we also had pool reservations and tickets to The Art Of The Brick lego exhibit at the museum (pic of my favorite piece at the exhibit above) right before they started. Throw in a birthday zoom for Kari's older brother too. So we found ourselves scrambling to make and eat dinner and watch the back to school zoom all at the same time. We managed to take a few photos of the controlled chaos one night. We turned off our video during the call so as not to embarrass ourselves with other families having to watch us eat dinner. When you turn off your video, it shows your profile picture instead. One of the kids had chosen a photo from a hotel a while back that was sort of a face made of a towel with wrapped chocolates for eyes. But the photo maybe doesn't look exactly like what it is. A friend that was also on the zoom sent Kar a text saying that our profile photo looked like a couple of condoms set on a pillow. So much for not embarrassing ourselves...
