Ads and I went on the most extreme middle middle child date last weekend. When our kids turn 12, they get to choose a parent and a city to go to for a long weekend. Brian and LT went to Chicago, Ads and I went to San Francisco (and B has declared he is going to CHINA). We flew out Thursday, arrived at 2pm and didn't stop until we flew home Sunday. He found the most amazing restaurants in town, so we spent a lot of time eating incredible food. In addition to food, we explored China Town, Lombard Street, Ghiradeli Square, Fisherman's Warf, Alcatraz (could have just done this and had the best weekend), Exploratorium, Union Square and rode the trolleys (as well as logged 18-20,000 steps/day). San Fran felt pretty "safe". Restaurants required both vaccine cards (and yes they checked!) and masks until you sat down. They checked the vaccine card with each person's ID. Museums and Alcatraz were no different, and were masked as well (even outside).

B's Soccer
B's second season of soccer just finished. One of his best buddies played and mom coached the team, which was great. A dad of one of the kids took some great photos of the kids and I picked a few to put up here. You know, for the memories.

Happy 6th Birthday to our Youngest
B woke up at 5:45 today and yelled, "6!" Brian and I sleepily, said, no buddy its only 5:45 to which he replied, "I am 6!" And that's how his birthday began. He opened a few gifts in the morning before his birthday party with friends.
I hired HERO kid sports to put on a park party, and it was a big hit! I didn't take many photos but I did get a few.
My brother taught his kids about the duck trick with pringles!
And despite asking for no gifts, several friends brought them anyway. We headed back to grandma and papas (so our house could be shown, its on the market) and he opened them.
He's exhausted and happy and we have plenty of fun entertainment for the next few days!

One Tooth Down!
B got into the car this week after school and I looked back to smile and him and noticed he was missing a tooth. He had no idea! We never found it and have no clue where it is, but it's gone and the tooth fairy found us regardless.
